News: New simpler process for registering as an IATI publisher

The IATI Technical Team has launched improvements to IATI’s Registry making it easier to sign-up as a new IATI publisher. The new added features are part of a research project undertaken by the IATI Secretariat in 2021 to understand the needs and challenges of IATI’s publishers. News: Launch of IATI Datastore API version 3

IATI is delighted to announce the launch of its new Datastore API on IATI’s Unified Platform, as part of an effort to integrate IATI’s Datastore in-house. The Datastore API version 3 contains a series of enhancements requested by the IATI Community. Read the news post with the access guidance and additional information to learn more.

 

New page: IATI Events Calendar

You can now check all IATI events in one place! Visit our new IATI Events Calendar page, with all IATI internal events as well as external events around transparency, open data and/or development that are relevant to IATI’s work. The page will be updated with new information on a regular basis.

 

Content: Data Use Stories: Presentations from IATI VCE 2

Revisit the data use ‘lightning’ presentations from the Virtual Community Exchange 2! The videos are now available in the Data Use Query Corner, a space for data users to learn from different IATI data use cases and diverse ways to solve queries. Explore these data use cases here.

 

Consultation: Update to DQI Consultation

IATI is pleased to announce the forthcoming Consultation on IATI Connect, Data Quality Index: Timeliness and Validation, starting 14 February. Followed by Data Completeness starting end of March, and the final consultation on the weights for each DQI measure starting end of April. Stay tuned by following the Discussion post!

New Feature: Video-Uploader

You can now upload videos directly into a Discussion post or an Event! The video-uploader feature, announced last year, is available for all users and can be found in the description’s toolbar of Event and Discussion posts (see image). Start sharing relevant videos with the Community now!

Data Use Working Group Meeting

The IATI Data Use Working Group (DUWG) is a multi-stakeholder group of volunteers from the IATI community who work on increasing the use of IATI data. The DUWG meetings take place every other week and are open to anyone in the IATI community. Don’t forget to enroll and find the Zoom-link in the Event-post. If you are interested in sharing your example of IATI data use, please contact the group Chair Mark Brough (mark.brough@gmail.com) or Secretariat member Cody Wallace (cody.wallace@undp.org).
