GIFT Community Survey

Dear colleagues,

Happy new year! 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being part of the GIFT-Global Initiative for Fiscal Transparency's 2020. It was a difficult year, with the challenges of the continuing pandemic emphasizing the importance of global solidarity in pushing forward and implementing more open, transparent, and accountable public financial management systems. 

Being a multi-stakeholder global action network that advances fiscal transparency, participation and accountability, the Global Initiative for Fiscal Transparency (GIFT) is strategically in a position to work towards a world where the public have a concrete say on public finances, from contributing to where they are best placed, to monitoring whether goals are actually being achieved.

As we continue our work and aim to improve our processes and systems to better advocate for, implement and support reform efforts in 2021 and beyond, we want to hear from you, our fiscal openness champions: what did we do right, what have we learned, and what is missing?
