Launch: IATI Members Group

A new Community of Practice, the “IATI Members Group'' was launched by the IATI Governing Board to create a space to update IATI members on governance-related matters, and allow for meaningful and direct engagement between the Governing Board and Members. Recap: Livestock Data for Decisions (LD4D) Event
On Tuesday, September 27 (13:00-14:00 UTC), the Livestock Project Portal Dashboard was showcased at the annual LD4D Livestock Data for Decision event, which took place from September 26 - 30.  This Dashboard uses IATI data to support better investment decisions and resource allocation through donor coordination. Updates: Data Use Query Corner Updated:

The Data Use Query Corner is a one-stop location on IATI’s Community platform, where you can learn to solve queries with IATI data and ask questions of other Community members. Visit the Data Use Query Corner now to find updated examples of querying IATI data using IATI’s Datastore Search and the Country Development Finance Data tool

Key Updates

Datastore Search v1.6.0 Release: This month, the IATI Secretariat released v1.6.0 of Datastore Search, incorporating translation features. Click here to read more.

Datastore API v3.2.0 Release: The IATI Technical Team has released v3.2.0, which adds spatial query functionality to the Datastore API. This means that it is now possible to filter IATI activities by precise locations. Click here to learn more.

 

Check out the next edition of IATI Connect Stories, our monthly video series showcasing the work of an IATI Community member. This month, we interviewed Jessica Jordan Davila, manager of the Financial Tracking Service (FTS). FTS is a global tool managed by UN OCHA (UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) to monitor the world’s humanitarian funding flows. As part of an effort to strengthen integration between IATI and FTS, the Ukraine dashboard was designed as a testing ground to improve automated financial data-sharing between donors publishing to IATI and OCHA’s FTS.
