Hi,
I saw one of the new logo's - I think it is a really good promo idea, and for me 'powered by IATI data' captures it well.
Can anyone use them, where do I find the official copies to download, and is there any guide to when they can be used/under what conditions.......does IATI host them somewhere for people to use etc?
Thanks,
Matt
For me it is good. but it will be large. It Powered can writen in cercle.
We're using the logo in the IATI COVID-19 Funding Dashboard, but we couldn't find any guidance, so we simply made the logo a link to iatistandard.org. If the Secretariat and/or tech team does publish guidance for using the logo in the future, we'll update to conform to it.
Hi Matt, great question! Also relevant to check this post of two weeks ago, with a similar question by Steven Flower.
Currently requests to use the logo need to be sent to the Secretariat via info@iatistandard.org. We are working on drafting public usage-guidelines, and will keep you posted on this. Hopefully Rohini Simbodyal - IATI Secretariat can give an update once she is back in the office.
Hope the above is helpful!
Best,
Sander
Thanks - it would be good if this could also link to the licensing of IATI data e.g. noting that if a commercial site uses IATI data, it will probably not be the full dataset because some IATI data does not allow that?
I also wonder if a discussion is needed to be clear that that data does not belong to IATI, but is instead data, 'powered by the IATI standard', might be better, or 'powered by IATI'.
If there was a way to merge this discussion with Steven's then please do.
No problem! We'll provide an update on the above once Rohini is back in the office (after coming week), as she's leading on this.
Best,
Sander

I think this is a really good point.
