I wanted to suggest IATI to have the projects/activity tagged by goods, supplies or services. This will be a great addition to the dataset. We have see other platforms have this information captured in the datasets they publish, thus assuming that it would not be difficult information for publishers to capture and add the information to IATI dataset.
Please suggest if there are any other alternate ways we can filter out the the data by goods, supplies or services.

Nice to be in touch with you! You can see something around the economic classification of activities by looking at the capital-spend field. This guidance note on implementation of integration of aid with country budgets explains a bit how this field works.
It doesn't cover exactly what you're looking for, but I think it's currently the closest thing in the IATI Standard. This also followed a substantial amount of research and engagement to work out what would be realistic and feasible to be published, so it might be challenging to get more detail than this. Quite a large number of publishers are already using this field.
As far as I'm aware, the only publisher that goes into more detail on the economic classification of spending is Publish What You Fund - see their visualisation here (which I made).
