On 28 March, the second part of the Data Quality Index Consultation was launched, focussing on measures for Data Completeness. Please provide your feedback before 29 April! Missed the Webinar? Read this post and check out the presentation and recordings in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

Discussion: Datastore Search!

The IATI Secretariat has launched Datastore Search to help meet the needs of data users who want to download raw IATI data. Datastore Search replaces the Query Builder tool and offers a range of additional functions to enable complex queries of IATI data. If you have any suggestions for additional features or guidance, contact the IATI Technical Team or visit the Data Use Query Corner.

News: Launch of the Data Use Drop-Ins!

The IATI Secretariat is excited to launch our new series of 2022 Data Use Drop-Ins on Analysing IATI Data! In each session, we will share how to analyse IATI data and go through what the data shows, followed by a discussion. After the sessions, the analysis will be further developed on the inputs received in the discussion.

Join the next Data Use Drop-In session on 25 May; 13:00 (UTC)/ 9:00 am (EST). Find out when these Drop-Ins take place on this Connect page.

Key Updates

Consultation: Data Quality Index Consultation part 1: Timeliness and Validation

From 15 February the first part of the Data Quality Index Consultation took place, focussing on measures related to Timeliness and Validation. Please read through the most frequently asked questions on this Connect page. Although there will not be active moderation from this point, we still welcome any (late) feedback on the Timeliness and Validation discussions- find out on the main DQI-page.

Discussion: New Organisation Identifier!

As part of their support for new publishers, the IATI Technical Team examined the possibility of creating new identifiers for organisations that have not been registered with any of the agencies present in the code list of organisation registration agencies on the org-id.guide website. IATI community members Mark Brough, Michelle Levesque, Steven Flower, Emma Clegg, and others recently contributed to this process. Check out this discussion on Khyber Medical University, this discussion on the Higher Population Council (HPC), and/or this discussion on the European Commission, and learn more about the actions to take if your organisation finds itself in a similar situation!
