The Monthly "IATI Connect Snapshot" provides you with an overview of past and upcoming activities across the platform. Register now: Virtual Community Exchange on June 28

IATI will organise its third Virtual Community Exchange (VCE3) on Tuesday 28 June (13:00- 16:30 UTC)! Our online event will offer informal and interactive sessions led by members of the IATI Community. Check out our VCE3-Event Page to access the Information Pack and learn more about the upcoming VCE3.

**News: Take the IATI Annual Survey for Data Users! Deadline extended, May 9th!

The annual survey for data users is open to anyone who accessed or used IATI data in 2021. Please take the surveys before 9 May. Your input is essential for helping us track progress toward achieving the objectives set in our Strategic Plan and our broader vision of improving the transparency of development and humanitarian resources.

 

Consultation: Data Quality Index Consultation

On 28 March the IATI Secretariat launched the next part of the Data Quality Index Consultation, focussing on Data Completeness measures. Find out more about the DQI Consultation, including the summary on Timeliness and Validation, on the main page. Based on the webinars, you can find FAQs via this page. Do note that the third part of this Consultation, on Weights and Measures, is scheduled to be launched on 9 May (until 10 June). News: Updates to Datastore Search

The IATI Technical Team has implemented new features available to data users on Datastore Search. You can now navigate from an activity in Datastore Search to d-portal.org, it is easier to use codelists, text rules are now aligned between simple and advanced search, and bugs in "date selection" and "importing filters" were fixed. News: IATI Software Processes Update

To improve IATI's software management processes, the IATI Technical Team has published new documentation on the IATI Software Versioning Protocol and the IATI Deprecation Process. Click here to learn more!

Discussions: Standard Management Consultations

There are two recent updates in the Standard Management Consultations Group:

-Updated Currency Codelist: On the 1st of April, the IATI Secretariat updated the IATI Currency Codelist. Check it out here.

-Question on renaming IATI Codelists: This month, IATI Technical Team member Amy Silcock initiated a discussion on whether some of the default or older IATI Codelists should be renamed to be more specific. Engage in the conversation and learn more about the issue via this link.

Data Use Drop-Ins Series!

External Events (June 2022)

  • The seventh edition of DataCon Africa will take place in Cape Town from the 7th to the 8th of June. This event will focus on aligning data strategy with digital transformation. Learn more about this event here.
  • The International Data Week will be held in person (in Seoul) and virtually from 20-23 June. The IDW 2022 edition's theme is "Data to improve our world". Click here to find more information about this event. 
  • European Development Days, taking place from 21-22 June, is a hybrid event and will focus on "building sustainable partnerships for a connected world". Click here to engage.
