RECAP - Opening session: the role of transparency in development effectiveness: perspectives from a post-COVID world

This plenary session provided an inspirational and informative foundation for the first day of the VCE. Keynote speaker Ulrika Modéer, Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the Bureau for External Relations and Advocacy at UNDP, and other high-level thinkers explored how open, transparent data can support ‘building back better’ from the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of transparency and open data in the new effectiveness conversation.
