In the Spotlight…

Consultation: Data Quality Index

Don’t miss your chance to contribute to the Data Quality Index Consultation before this Thursday 30 September, and help us shape how IATI quality is measured in the years to come! Share your inputs now by accessing the main Consultation page, or check out the different Discussion subsections: Timeliness, Data Availability, New Measures or Overall Questions.  Key takeaways will be further shared and discussed during a DQI session at IATI’s Virtual Community Exchange 2 on Wednesday, 13 October, 1:15pm UTC and during a webinar on 20 October.

Community Discussion: Responsible Transparency

Given the recent change of authorities in Afghanistan and Myanmar, a conversation about the balance between transparent and open development cooperation data and ‘doing no harm’ has recently been gaining steam. In this context we invite the wider development cooperation community  to engage in a timely Community Discussion around ‘Responsible Transparency’. Read this background note on Responsible Transparency: Considerations for IATI and share your views through this Discussion. A dedicated session on this topic will be co-organised with the U.S. Department of State and USAID, on Wednesday, 13 October, 12:00pm UTC, at the Virtual Community Exchange 2.
